My friend got the 2 egg breakfast and she said the hashbrowns were some of the best. We came around 11 and it was really busy. We had to wait in the car until they called us. So if you have a lot of kids or older people with you maybe go in and check if you need to leave your name before you unload everyone into the restaurant because there is no seating for waiting. It was good but very loud since there was so many people and we were not able to talk to each other over the noise. I would like to come back when it is less busy but I don't know if they have a slow time.
Love their breakfast! The service and food are always great when we go. We usually go when it's not busy during the week, it's usually pretty busy on the weekends.
This place is ghetto fabulous, if you like greasy spoon restaurants then this is a place for you. We got the apple fritter and the fried scone. Both were ok but nothing that you need to try. The atmosphere here was very truck stop dinner, with being friendly and warm.
I loved the steak and eggs (over easy) with hashbrowns. The steak was juicy and came with a scone but the nice waitress said I could have toast instead. She served it freshly toasted and nicely buttered.
Sills is a long time Layton Cafe. They are famous for their huge scones with honey butter, breakfasts to order, salads piled high topped with freshly made dressings, sandwiches, burgers, dinner fare and coffee; hot or cold. There is usually a wait to get in on Weekends. I usually call my order in and pick it up. The staff are friendly, attentive and ready to recommend their favorites. You can’t go wrong with Sills!
