Little Taste of Britain - Layton

My wife and I have eaten a lot of paintings in the last few years. I am a great fan of authentic English fishing and chips and if this place would be something more authentic, they would have to show them their passport to get into the door. as far as quality and taste go, I have eaten British style fish and chips in restaurants in all usa and the real ding in england and this place is as good or better than anything they find here in the states and comparable to the best I have tried in england. If you've never tried, give him a shot.

I have come to this place since the last year and went back exactly this week and was so disappointed by the service and the cookaxt even the cleanliness of the place. I don't know who they cook, but it was terrible, they don't have my favorite food in the cooler and the floors and place looked dirty. it cheats me to see it this way, I don't know if they work new people or what, but I will definitely not go back soon. I hope the place is formed.

It's a small chippy in a strip mall. It has the feel of corner chippy in England aside from the over abundance of Union Jack decor. I have been here twice and had fish and chips both times. The fish is great and I look forward to having it. The chips were perfect the first time but a little underdone on my second trip. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I tried the battered fried sausage and the battered mushrooms on this second trip and they were fantastic. I will be coming here often.
