Big T - Lawton

Big T was quite busy when I arrived late one Saturday afternoon. I tried a flight of their beers, and it was a bit of a mixed bag to be honest, but they have an extensive beer menu. Lots of brews from other breweries and several coolers hold cans and bottles from all over. Of theirs, Les Knows Best and Tabbis were my favorites, and those were quite good. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite being very busy. From appearances I’d guess this has to be the busiest restaurant in town, and is well worth a stop.

Fantastic salad bar and waitress. Rib eye was horrid. Please find someone who knows how to cook steaks.

Brought me a beef chimi instead of the chicken one I ordered but I told the server I'd keep it. No offer for remake or off. I didn't care for jalapeno soup sauce on top and the rice like the boxed Spanish rice. Portion fine, I just didn't care for the flavor. New recipe please.

Great place to go with a bigger group. The booths are large and can fit a6 easily. The food options are crazy abundant with a huge drink menu.

Love Big T's, usually. Last night was an off night. Only 2 wait-staff for back room and upstairs party. My husband received the wrong drink, which should have been the clue that they were preoccupied with other things beside work. I then received the lemon pepper walleye instead of the baked walleye. Way too peppery for my stomach. Brought it to the attention of the waitress, but by this time I had eaten salad bar and potato so was not going to wait for new meal. No discount was given, no resolution. Never had this happen here before. Usually top rate service and food. Maybe we will sit in bar next time.
