Contribuiți la feedbackCame here to have dinner with Family. The wait was not as long as told when we arrived, Great! Little did we know it would rapidly go downhill from there. (I believe the actions of the server are based on poor management/training. She said she had been there a year when asked…So, we initially questioned why we had experienced such poor service, but you’ll understand as you read further). Also when reading this review, keep in mind there were five of us, so with a combination of drinks/appetizers/dinner, the check was in the triple digits. Also keep in mind that we have dined at other Pappadeaux locations in GA and TX, which prompted us to bypass other restaurant options in the area. Upon first interaction with the server, she abruptly left the table after only greeting and taking drink orders from two of the five of us at the table. Why?! We (the table) had to ask for everything from water refills, to bread (which was cold) to the silverware, to the check. We had to ask for additional silverware/napkins, because only three of us upon receiving our appetizers were provided utensils. When we asked the server why, she said that silverware should have been provided when the hostess sat us. She walked off and came back to the table and told us there was no available silverware/napkins and dropped some plastic To-Go utensil packets on the table and walked away. When we brought this to the attention of who we assumed was the floor manager, he said he would take care of us, but took his time doing so. Until he decided to bring us the utensils we requested, we had to share what we had available until he casually strolled back to the table and provided the silverware and napkins needed. Minimal attention was provided throughout the meal by the server, as tables around us were served by different staff/departed, as the dinner crowd started to pour in. The bread, which is normally crispy/hot, was stale/cold. The appetizers seemed rushed and not presented well. Four of the five entrees came out together. The meals were Luke warm. The loaded baked potato for the fifth meal came out without the seafood ordered. Nothing was sent back, because we were hungry and hesitant to do so at that point. Once we received our requested To-Go containers, we were never asked if we wanted dessert (we did not bother to ask for a dessert menu), and the check was provided. By the way, what restaurant puts what they call a “Star” that looks like the letter “A” or beginning of a signature at the start of the signature line on the check? When the payer asked, because their name started with an “A”, they were told it was to show the customer where they should sign the check. What restaurant does that, and what person who dines out does not know where to put their signature on the check?! If you haven’t figured it out already. We won’t be patronizing this location in the future.
Service was great! And food is always good! Me and my husband frequent here a lot bc we know they will always get our food exactly like we want it!Food: 5/5
The best, biggest crab cake I ever had! The crab dip was delicious, salmon with steamed spinach and crispy Brussel sprouts also delicious! And, to top it off,the slice of coconut infused cheesecake was the cherry on top.Food: 5/5
Loved that the food was well seasoned and tasty. However, I prefer seafood and not farm raised. Jerry the waiter was excellent. He was very accommodating and patient.Parking: Free Parking onsite
We were visiting family in Georgia and they took us here for dinner! We got about 4 appetizers and they were ALL amazing! We also ordered entrees which we just ended up taking them home bc we were stuffed from the appetizers...The customer service was good! They are very packed but, the wait time was not long at all for a Saturday..We only had to wait about 20mins. We will definitely be visiting them again when we are back in town.
