Mak Jack's Bbq - Lawrenceville

The food is out of this world! Absolutely fantastic! Five stars just isn't enough! I can't wait to eat there again when I'm in the area! I enjoyed the pulled pork mac and cheese along with the sweet potato soufflé, and my second plate featured brisket, pulled pork, sweet potato soufflé, and fried okra. Delicious! As for parking, it's limited but there is space available right in front of the entrance.

The food is excellent, and the service is even better. The owner is a genuinely nice person who makes everyone feel truly welcome.

Wow, what an incredible experience! We had the fried catfish, mac and cheese, and collard greens, and they were all fantastic! The catfish was flavorful and fried to perfection. They also have an amazing cheeseburger that you shouldn't miss. The place is always clean, and the staff is friendly, making you want to come back for more. They did forget my extra side of mac and cheese, but that won’t prevent me from returning. Next time, I definitely want to try the ribs. You won't be disappointed here! If you don't feel like cooking dinner, this is a great option. Prices are around $12 and up, which is reasonable considering it’s soul food. My soul felt rejuvenated after such a delicious meal!

This was our third time order from mak and Jack’s because our first two experiences were so great. eating was delicious every time that we even recommended for family and friends. but the experience of the last night was a lot different. to start in the restaurant to pick up our food after an online order. we were not greeted by one of the employees, and since we waited right in front of the pick-up area, unknown to us, our food was ready and waited, but we did not know because the server never called our names, asked how we could be helped, or so. I thought that the ticket had my name and asked for our food. the part we could overlook, but the quality of the food we had last night was not the food we had ordered last month to feed 40 people. we ordered the brisket plate with mac n’ cheese and tweebel rings, 4 lemon pepper smoked wings and a smash burger with fries. and the only thing we could say was good the tweebel rings. they left the sauce for the brisket, the mac n’ cheese and the pommes smeared as if they were left before the day. we were disappointed to say that at least because we enjoyed eating so much mutual.

I normally don’t like BBQ because it’s dry, but not at Mak Jack’s. Their BBQ is tender and juicy. You can tell the cook knows what he’s doing. Prices are a little high, but the food is very good.
