Verona Pizza - Lawrenceburg

This restaurant shows all the potential of being a charming little Italian eatery, but unfortunately, they seem to have overlooked the importance of flavor. I tried the lasagna and meatballs, and to be honest, they were quite bland. The meatballs had an unusual, slightly rubbery texture and lacked taste. If you need evidence of how flavorless the food is, just take a look at their garlic bread. Perhaps the pizza is an improvement, but I’m unlikely to find out. I opted for takeout service.

The food is surprisingly good every single time. Atmosphere good. Music is almost always slightly too loud to talk comfortably. Overall still very good. Fantastic food and outstanding service! I tried the oven-baked lasagna, and it was incredibly delicious—served piping hot and clearly homemade. My wife had the oven-baked ziti and also found it to be delicious. Verona's is definitely making its way into our regular lunch and dinner plans!
