The menu is pretty standard as far as Viet goes and it gets busy here, which is a good sign when you see any place packed. It means the food is good The food is very fresh and I like the big bag of herbs/leaves that goes with the soups! I didnt get soup, I was eyeing up someone elses, the discreet side looks, you know? I mentioned the crispy roasted pork belly to the man who was spruiking/ushering people in to eat. He was very attentive, asking how I was, if I needed anything, was everything ok etc. I mentioned how good the pork was and gave the universal sign. As it turns out, he made it. It had a nice crunch to the top, the right amount of fat (more to the lean side) and was well cooked. Next time I'll ask for a bag of the soup herbs instead of the salad, I like the Asian salads over the western ones, much tastier and coriander is so good! I always ask for extra coriander with anything. I'll be back next week...or maybe tomorrow, noms.

I mentioned the crispy fried pork belly to the man who fed the people to eat. he was very attentive and asked how I was when I needed something, everything was in order, etc. I mentioned how good that was gay and gave the universal sign. as it turned out, he did. it had a nice crunch on the top, the correct amount of fat (more on the slim side) and was well cooked. next time I will ask for a bag of suppen herbs instead of salats, I like the Asian salad over the western, much tastier and coriander is so good! The food was just average. The portion size was small, and the service was nearly non-existent. You place your order and pay at the counter, wait for your number to be called, then pick up your food and find a table on your own. The bun mam, served in a small plastic bowl, cost $15 for a small portion. This serving size was just two-thirds of what you'd typically get at a decent Asian noodle restaurant anywhere in Victoria, from St. Albans to Footscray, where similar dishes usually cost between $12 and $14. I'm not sure if this is related to COVID-19, but I've noticed that prices at many restaurants have dramatically increased lately—an unfortunate trend that seems to affect everyone. It's important to remember that all Australians have faced challenges over the past two years, not just restaurants, and we continue to support them.
I absolutely love their lamb ribs with the secret sauce, along with the chips and salad. For just $12, I believe it’s the best value meal available.
