The Crab's Claw Inn - Lavallette

Last Saturday held for the first time for lunch with my mother. The menu had many elements that caught my eye. But it was restaurant week and they had a three course specialty. We both ordered the soup for the first course and it was good and hot. For the 2nd course we both ordered the Scrod via Angel Hair Pasta. It was delicious. 3rd course was desert that was delicious. Definitely over again. The restaurant was very busy and the service was on point.

The crab claw is a great place. The Hammer family does it right, they make you like a local home... This place reminds me of the great neighborhood places you love and the crowd that makes you smile. The crab cakes are some of the best I ever had and always tasty, while drinking one of over 100hundred different beers they carry from all over the world.... And the staff is excellently warm, committed and quickly love the claw!

Popular restaurant with families. Also a large bar area visited by locals and holidaymakers. Evening entertainment. It looks as if they try to please everyone with a large menu with a wide range of prices and variety. I had a French Dip Brat beef sandwich and the woman had the fish tacos for lunch both were excellent along with the service.

My wife and I were just for a St. Patrick's lunch after the parade and were up with Tom the bartender. He was excellent as the service as it was in the hectic. The food was excellent, including my beef sandwich and crab dive (was delicious). They have gone to the crabs for at least 38 years and had many family celebrations there. Always eat top notch.

Visiting Lavallette Beach with friends! The Crabs Claw was top on the list! Now I know why! Great service, great food and a great time!
