Le Balthazar - Laval

We had a good service. Beer and food is good. We ate the tuna tartare and the chicken brooch entrance. this entry is good but a little expensive for 6 small-moyen pieces (10)$.

Good I've already been twice and for a brewery we eat very nice nice plates nice presentation good portions cheap place well arranged try what I took the two times :) the bath!!!

We were in a group of friends at the Laval Balthazar restaurant. An exemplary welcome from our server from the backlog and excellent service all the time of the evening. We were on a table at 8 in the center of the restaurant. Maybe it was a little tight between the rows of tables. On the mood side, it speaks loud and rock music is also strong. So ideal for friends parties, but I wouldn't recommend for a couple party. beer selection is impressive (both in barrels and bottles) and I think it could be a very good argument for amateurs. beer prices are also reasonable. food side is tavern style food with a current twist. for my part, I took a squirrel pork burger and bris cheese. the pork was well cooked, bbq sauce excellent, accompanied by a fries-sided sauce. However, the price value of the dish was rather average, but in the prices for this type of restaurant. my wife took the salmon tartar, honestly it was adequate, but was a lot of fish. In total, for two people, 3 beers, 2 wine cuts and 2 main dishes, count about $100 taxes and tip included. In summary: nice welcome, suitable food, perhaps a little expensive, nice selection of beer, rather boiling atmosphere: I would go back for beer, not necessarily for food and especially not in mind to head
