Boston Pizza - Laval

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday, and although the dining area wasn't crowded, the service was quite slow. We were left waiting for our food, and by that time, we were really hungry. I enjoyed the pizza selection, but the honey-flavored option wasn't to my taste. The pasta was dry and hard, so I wouldn't recommend it. While the pizza might be on the pricey side, the restaurant does offer a spacious and comfortable dining area. As for kid-friendliness, there’s plenty of room, a kids' menu, and coloring activities available.

We had a wonderful experience with our meal. As American tourists, we found it challenging to navigate the language barrier in this town, as we only speak English. However, our waitress was outstanding. Rita excelled as a multilingual server and also provided us with a wealth of information about the local area. This truly enhanced our dining experience!

The service was exceptional, and the staff were fantastic. The food was not only delicious but also budget-friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the restaurant was impeccably clean.

Unfortunately, we found ourselves waiting a long time to place our orders once again. The waitress addressed us as if we were familiar faces on her regular route, casually assuring us that she’d be back shortly to take our orders. When our food finally arrived, everything came out almost simultaneously, which meant that by the time I finished my shrimp, my pizza was already cold. I ordered a can of Coke, and she mentioned she would open one and pour it into a glass. However, there was no can in sight. It appeared she poured at least two cans into one glass, given its size, and the taste was nothing like what I expected. I definitely did not receive a can of Coke — I feel like she was not being honest. To make matters worse, the food wasn’t even that good. Boston Pizza, you’ve lost your edge. Half of the small, young staff stood outside chatting right in front of us. Seriously, Boston Pizza? Needless to say, neither I nor anyone I know will be returning to any of your locations. But perhaps that doesn’t concern you; you’ll likely continue to attract new customers. After all, there will always be new generations of kids coming your way...
