Sonnenberg - Lauterbrunnen

While walking under a full moon, we stopped for a drink. Warm, very human and professional welcome. Special mention for the glass of apple juice (pressed with Simmental)

A wonderful experience. Excellent food and friendly service, under new management. Delicious and creative Austrian and Swiss cuisine. Very family friendly. Excellent options also for Vegans and vegetarians. Inside and outside dining. Small petting zoo with goats and sheep. All-around very enjoyable. Worth the hike up from Mürren or the hike down from Allmendhubel.

We made a booking at 2 a.m. to the hotel, but at 4 a.m. to realize that we can't do it, we immediately advised the hotel and asked for a refund. At the same time they were still on the booking site. Therefore we did not penalize when booking, no service provided, but the answer was NO. Sadly you learn the Swiss marketing policy for this institution.... just money....

This restaurant is just above Mürren and it seems to be at the end of numerous hiking trails. We stayed here on three separate days after long hikes. The terrace is great, the beer is tasty/cold, and the Aperol spray does not tilt on the aperol. We were treated with nothing but kindness. We only had drinks here. The view is amazing.

Das Schutzkonzept wird eingehalten und jeden Tag gibt es eine warme Suppe oder sonst einfache Speise. Wir hatten auch den sehr leckeren Aprikosenkuchen genossen. Alle geben sich so viele Mühe. DANKE!
