Rustic ambience, friendly service and a regional and seasonal map. bids will be a solid and tidy country kitchen at however also high prices. (dinner, 4 people, €110,90 tonight we had invited friends to a thank you to eat, and for this occasion the jägerhof offered for many reasons. one of them was that after our first visit in October 2014 we had to come back and enjoy here in all tranquility. the table we had reserved (from the experience of our previous visits, but what proved to be not necessary in front of the website. a day after Eastermonday was also past the Easter period. but it was nicely covered, and we were expected in this sight that the reservation was not crazy. very friendly received by the service power and brought to the table we were already asked about the drinks requests, but wanted to wait for the arrival of our well-known who then arrived only five minutes after us. the menus were brought along and the recommendations of the house were presented, which have also found several times. I have sworn by the special pommes and asked myself that the service power could not start much with it and looked at me a little strange: . the gas room is on the walls with wood on three sides, which seems to be a little too dark photo, but which does not happen due to the brighter wood in reality. everything in all very cozy: especially the niche with our covered table. they wanted to look forward to a dessert and so leave the appetizers. we ordered a bark force bread and a blue cream. as main food, on the one hand, the bark rouladen were selected from the daily offer (as planned with semmelknödel and once with pommes friten and on the other hand the lambragout with bagches (vogelsberger national court). And as normally not bell name esser I wanted to try a bark fillet steak here, for this and for the lamb dish of the jägerhof. Unfortunately I was disappointed once again because the pommes did not taste as much (and after kartoffel as they tasted here at our first visit). they tasted like quite normal frozen bims, no longer after the fresh bims we enjoyed last October. therefore perhaps also the incomprehensible expression of the service power in my laurel about the local pommes at the beginning of our visit: .can seasonal goods be? then it was kartoffel harvest. who knows we didn't ask, but we're gonna find out about our next visit. my rinderfilet was the first to see! tasty! and fried exactly according to my wish. that's true. the barkrouladen with the particularly sharp red herb (columned caraway) were found as well as the lammragout with the bagche for very delicious. it rarely happens, but I was ready for a dessert. Maybe there was another place in which we liked because an salad we all had not ordered. we wanted to order the card again for the dessert order, but then it was said that the desserts did not insist that they (the service performance would tell us personally). I would have passed on the map! then there was a selection of green green green fruit with vanilleparfait or Alternatiw mousse au chocolat with berries. the mousse unfortunately again disappointing with three thin pears and aroch the green green fruit in green liquid does not grütze . and the alleged vanilleparfait tasted like ordinary vanilleeis. In advance, for the kitchen I would be awarded 7 stars if we were. The service was attentive and super friendly. The ordered table was excellently decorated and the selection of drinks was excellent. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but you have to say that in an old house it is not always possible to produce room standards as in the luxury hotel. But before the end of the evening. We had reserved a table for a birthday and selected a small selection of menu items for the guests. There was a selection of salmon creations, a soup and a salad away from the front. Everything was above average good, excellently dressed and fresh. To the main course we had the choice between filletsteak, zanderfilet, pork ends and lamb kottlets. Here, too, all the courts have voted ALL. The lamb and the fillet steak were especially praised, but also the other dishes were excellent. At the end, we had 3 different varieties of homemade sorbet that was really melting. The selection of wine and also the selection of other drinks was excellent. It was a really successful evening with delicious food, attentive service and timely and tastefully matched kitchen. The breakfast room and the breakfast were also ok but only standard. Due to the great food and service I can give quietly a certain 5 stars. I definitely wasn't here for the last time. For the info of the pictures in the appendix, I crawled directly at the table.
