Tibits - Lausanne

Egal wo in der Schweiz, ich suche immer zuerst ein Tibits Restaurant. Bisher war ich nun schon unzählige Male hier und bin immer satt und glücklich gegangen.

Ich weiß nicht, warum ich so viel gezögert habe, bevor ich in dieses Restaurant ging. Wirklich ein Wunder, es bietet viele innovative Dinge, wie ein edamamous guacamole?!?! Und die Brownies sind außergewöhnlich!

The Tibits veg buffet chain is run by Hiltl, who were pioneers for all-veg restaurants in Switzerland, founded in 1900 and something. Lots of tasty and filling food, good desserts too. My favourites are the carrot-ginger mousse, veg tartar, stuffed jalapeños, and many dishes change on a weekly basis. Great setting and a fantastic range of vegan foods! We went three times in a week and also went to their takeaway stall nearby a couple of times!! Highly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2024-05-31

Excellent selection of hot and cold food on the buffet, almost all vegan. Plateful of food came to around CHF25. Restaurant is within the railway station, access from end of platform 1 or station front.
