Very good pastries and coffee. Spacious and warm room. Pleasant service.

My husband and I came here on a busy Saturday morning (I mention busy because usually that means fresher pastries due to turn over) To our surprise and disappointment, while everything on display looked amazing, his pain au Chocolate was stale, very stale. Days old stale. I ordered the tarte au fruit rouges (looks incredible) but again the crust was stale and also the filling had a strange metallic flavor with a bitter finish. Too bad.

Bad experience. They served us old croissant and pain au chocolat. They said it was baked this morning and fresh but the taste was for sure old. After coming from France this is a bad experience. Will surely not recommend panetier in Lausanne.

Visited this cafe for a quick coffee and cake while in Lausanne city centre and it was good. There was a wide variety of cakes available and they were tasty. The prices were reasonable too. The reason for lower score is the queue management wasn't very good even without a long queue.

Sehr schöner Ort, vernünftige Preise. Angenehme Atmosphäre, aber es kann schnell ziemlich laut werden. Meiner Meinung nach fehlt es an etwas Hintergrundgeräuschen. Vielleicht etwas Hintergrundmusik? Möglichkeit zur Bezahlung mit Karte, aber nur an der Theke. Schade, dass keine mobilen Zahlungsgeräte vorhanden sind.
