Le Cricket - Lausanne

Neighborhood restaurant, nothing imagination, waitress was so friendly. We can't say a word in French (except parlé angle?)but she took her time despite her poor English to help us. We had a very delicious fondue Bouruignonne with very good frits! The Desserts Tarte was very good. The wine card is good Also the Sarg Biscuit of the page was amazing! The whole experience to do your own meat was great!. No one rushes you to occasionally come some oldie neighbors to say hello and enjoy a good meal. Time doesn't matter. If you do not realize that you are in the middle of the fancier Swiss Lakeland, Audrey Hepburn's last residence, no one will remember you.

I visited Le Cricket for lunch with a friend. Excellent value for money and good choice of daily dishes see photos. I understand that it has recently changed property and has gone too big. The place is suitable for friends and families, but not really for a romantic meal.

We ate here on the other day with the family and had the specialty Voronoff steak. WOW, what a real treat for the taste and the fact that it is cooked for you at the table is also a real treat for the eyes. Exceptional, excellent service, excellent duck with the owner chef at the table. Defines on our local favorite list.
