Everything could not have been more perfect. The manager made sure everything was set up before we arrived. He greeted us warmly and pampered my mom and all of us throughout. Waitstaff was highly attentive from start to finish. This allowed us all to just relax and enjoy the celebration, the meal, and family. We brought our own birthday cake and the manager brought it out for us to sing and then took it back to the kitchen to be sliced and served to the table with freshly brewed coffee. Beautiful day, spit-on service, lovely meal. We were not rushed A good time was had by all.

Upon first glance, the place appears beautiful, although this wasn't our first visit. We came to see our friend perform, and this was our second time attending. We decided to sit at the bar where our musician friend introduced us to the bartender, Mike, claiming we were lifelong friends. The food was mediocre, scoring around a 5 out of 10. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't outstanding. Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. Despite sitting right at the bar, it was like pulling teeth to get Mike's attention once our food arrived. It took a frustratingly long 10 minutes for him to finally bring me another Diet Coke, which was oddly only 3/4 full. To my disgust, I discovered a dead bug floating in my drink after taking a few sips. I waited an additional 15 minutes for Mike to return, but he never did. Frustrated, I approached the hostess and requested to speak to Gino, the owner whom we had met before. I showed her a picture of the bug in my drink, and she assured me she would fetch Gino promptly. However, 15 minutes later, Gino still hadn't appeared, and Mike was nowhere to be found. It was only when our musician friend took a break that we showed him the bug and asked for his help. He promptly located Mike. To my astonishment, Mike approached without offering an apology, simply took the drink, and left to get me a replacement. Fed up, I told him to forget the drink and just give me the check. To my dismay, I was further shocked when I saw that he had actually charged me for the Diet Coke with the bug in it. Gino, the owner, never made an appearance, and we paid our bill and left. Needless to say, we have no intention of returning to that establishment, even if our friend is performing there.
I went here in the fall of 2014 and had the BEST eggplant parmigiana and coming here again today, 9 years later, I was SO excited to get the same entréeeggplant parmigiana! And I was so disappointed! The price of $24 didn’t match the microscopic portion of food that I got. Two tiny slices of eggplant, comparative to the size of a thinly sliced tomato, and some angel hair pasta. I was most definitely unsatisfied after eating that, and it lacked flavor. Perhaps this restaurant is under new management since 2014 because this entrée was made differently from what I remember. Needless to say, I will never return. But I would like to give a shout out to our server, Milan G! He was the best everpleasant and very attentive!
Faccis is my favorite restaurant hands down! Do NOT believe the bad reviews. Very authentic Italian menu that is rare in this area. I would beware they don’t serve American style Italian food. Definitely try their pasta, wines and Italian style cocktails. Their wait staff is so nice and the ambiance is great. Don’t waste time in any other restaurant in maple lawn area. Amazing bar too. I recommend a nice aperol spritz with bread, glass of wine with pasta and a lemoncello for desert.
