Star of Siam - Launceston

Super dissapointed portion and taste! would not recommend at all. the service was average, but the part is surprisingly tiny. $60 paid for it. ordered a big tomyum only 5 pieces chicken breast and a few mushrooms plus the taste of the suppe is not even strong, super watery! also the touching meat is super sweet. green were raw! the taste was cute, but super despised and overpriced!

Friendly and welcoming came here for a quick dinner with my partner. place and space and had great service the whole night the atmosphere and the decor is not the largest, but for a lightly casual meal on the fly it is quite decent the eating was really good. great aromen, only the correct amount of heat and many menu points to choose thank for the delicious dinner

So disappointed. food delicate and extremely over price. these foods are worth so much? no. my own cooked Thai food is better than this. bad experience.

We decided to try the star of siam at the corner of charles and peterson roads when we came to launceston. we had a window seat and could see cars and slides that seemingly made round the city. in the inner there were some Thai touches. we visited a Friday night and it was pretty busy when we arrived.

Excellent food and service. Bit pricey.. around $30/person shared dishes. Comfortable and classic seating environment. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
