Maharajas Curry House - Launceston

Reasonably tasty and fast food court Indian. Beef vindaloo tasty but very pricey given the serve (more sauce than meat). Saffron rice well cooked, and Samosa's and Naan pretty good too.

Had the butter chicken and it was very saucy, just the way I like it. Had the right amount of kick and the chicken wasn't fatty. Also had a garlic Nann, That was really nice, some extra garlic on it would of made it perfect as I like HEAPS of garlic. Will be going back!

We eat at Maharajas most Fridays and find it consistently good value and tasty meals. My son likes the Butter Chicken, we eat the vegetarian dishes which are as good as anywhere we have tried. Love the cheese and garlic naans!

My partner and I dined here for dinner and we left bitterly disappointed. The chicken tikka masala was basically watery chicken soup and the chicken biryani looked like vomit on a plate. No words can describe my disgust.
