Atmospheric decor with lots of attention to detail. Vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. We had fritters, kimchi toasties and nasi goreng (vegan uses with tofu instead of egg). Sides were sweet potato chips and potato chips. The whole place was a great experience. I’d have have liked leaf tea instead of a teabag but that’s the only fault.
We got the kimchi on toast (veganized) and the burger. The burger was decent but the chips were cold. The kimchi toast wasn't very good and was very over priced. It came with vegan mayo but was dry and still lacking flavour. Maybe some avocado would have helped? For a vegetarian restaurant I would have hoped they would make their vegan options better. Everyone else seems to have positive experiences from here so maybe was just a one off.
I had the falafel wrap and fries with the most amazing tamarind and chilli relish omg!
This place was really cool and the staff were friend. Big space, lots of seating, beautiful vegetable garden when walking in. We got the breakfast burrito and the beans, both vegan by default. They were both nice, but neither one was outstanding. They seemed to be lacking in flavour a bit, and with all the competition out there today, I was hoping for better. Great coffee (Happy Happy Soy Boy) and a really beautiful spot bumped this up to four stars for me, but definitely could be better.
