Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort Casino

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The rooms were worn down and lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker and a fridge, although I appreciate that they did provide a fridge when I requested one. We were in the North tower, and I would highly recommend avoiding that area. The food court had a terrible odor, reminiscent of raw sewage, making it difficult to even walk through, let alone eat there. Additionally, the desk staff were rude. I called seven times seeking information; five of those calls were abruptly disconnected due to errors, and on the other two occasions, I was simply hung up on. Do yourself a favor and consider other options when visiting Laughlin.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this resort. We just spent four days there and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the South Tower, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive throughout our weekend. Cocktails were served quickly; perhaps those who are complaining should consider tipping more often. The adult pool was nice, though we avoided the kid's pool and the beach because they seemed quite crowded. However, dining at The Range was a fantastic experience—slightly pricey but definitely worth it.

The room was comfortable, but the bathroom had only a half glass partition, so it can get a bit wet when you have kids. The beach area is small, and you can only rent ski equipment and cabanas. Robert rode, and there were various food options available. The kids absolutely loved the arcade. The location is right by the Arizona border. I didn’t use the pool, but it appeared nice. The front desk service seemed a bit disorganized, possibly due to computer issues, but the staff were friendly.

We rented a car and drove to Vegas, which is about 90 minutes away, and we had a blast. Bullhead City has all the essentials you might need, like Walmart, Target, and cheaper gas. Plus, recreational marijuana is much less expensive in Arizona! We visited JARS, a dispensary that's only 15 minutes away in Bullhead City; the staff there were friendly, informative, and professional. They had top-shelf products! Regarding our accommodations, we stayed in the South Tower, which had been recently renovated. The room was clean and quiet, though there were a couple of downsides: there were no mirrors except in the bathroom, and there was only one electrical outlet available. Overall, though, it was a fantastic trip! As for nearby activities, renting a car is a good idea to explore the sights. Recreational marijuana prices in Arizona are reasonable, especially compared to the high taxes in Nevada. Harrah's offers a bus service to the Tropicana every two hours, since walking from the resort can be quite a trek. I never felt unsafe during my stay. However, it's important to note that Harrah's is somewhat isolated; you can only walk from casino to casino if you take the bus to the Strip first, and then explore the riverwalk. When it comes to food and drinks, you can use your rewards points for dining and various activities, with the points being converted dollar for dollar. This made for better value than our local casino. And of course, there are free drinks as long as you're gambling!

This hotel clearly shows signs of neglect. During my stay in the Central Tower in the first week of August, my room was uncomfortable and uncomfortably hot, despite the AC running non-stop. I realize an AC can only cool the air to a certain extent, but I found the hallway to be more pleasant than my room. The mattress was sagging on one side, making it difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position—only the center of the bed was tolerable. Additionally, the bathtub had a slow drain that seemed to be clogged, leaving me standing in dirty water while I showered. There were also times when there was no hot water available. To make matters worse, half of the elevator buttons didn’t work or light up when pressed. When I checked in, I had to take several different elevators before I found one that actually stopped at my floor. I won't be returning to this hotel.
