Zwinger Melber - Lauf a.d.Pegnitz

Very good German meal in the center of lauf. we were in one of the small towns along the pegnitz and only limited availability with regard to open restaurants, so we had to go to dinner after running. this was a pleasant experience and. we had a great meal in zwinger melber with traditional German food. would recommend the place for tourist in the neighbourhood.

Very nice restaurant, excellent eating, friendly staff, perhaps best eating that I tried in Bavarians, recommend all biofach and others measure on the nürnberg trade fair visitors, overnight in running and visit this place.

The menu was wild duck with sauce and regional dumplings. wein and service excellent. parking is available at the back of the restaurant.

We went back because we loved the scoops and the ambiente in 2017. this time the shovel was excellent again, but the service was very disappointing. the salatbuffet was not even explained, waiting times were long and owners no longer accept German cards....Had to foot to ATM machine, shortly after heavy eating and hip surgery. very poor service and touristy unfriendly. the chairs outside are not comfortable.

I have been there more than once and the food is just excellent! Typical german cuisine with very friendly and helpful staff.
