Restaurant Bella Stella - L'Assomption

Very disapointed ! We called several weeks in advance to make a reservation for a fortune-telling dinner to celebrate a wedding and were told to call only a week in advance. We called back a week before to be told that reservations are full for fortune telling dinners until December. We therefore reserved for a normal dinner but for a wedding, we were therefore entitled to the reservation of the small lounge upstairs for more privacy, and we were promised to sit at the top of the list in case of cancellation of cartomancy. So far we are very satisfied. Arriving the same evening, the waitress was not aware that the lounge was reserved for us. It was very cold upstairs, and when we asked if it was possible to turn on the electric fireplace to warm us, the waitress only turned on the fireplace light, not the heat. We were cold throughout dinner, even with our jackets and scarves on. We learned by chance that a group had canceled the cartomancy, so we asked if we could benefit from it since we were told to be at the top of the list in the event of a cancellation, the waitress told us that she would not is not aware of this and that often the card draw takes advantage of the cancellations to return home earlier. We asked if the card girl would still be interested in passing our small group of 4 to replace the cancellation, and the waitress told us she would check. Almost an hour later we followed up with the waitress for this purpose and she told us she hadn't asked yet but that she would check when she came across the card machine and got back to us. She only spoke to us again, asking us if we wanted to leave our number for another fortune-telling evening, once we had gone down to pay and leave. Nothing special was offered for the newlyweds, and the food wasn't great either.

I really liked this restaurant and the waitress did a really good service.

Great service, the waitress knew the menu and she always came to see if everything was fine! And the food was Delicious! Will be back! :
