I'm here to share some disappointing news. This restaurant has new owners and different recipes. Honestly, I don’t know where to begin! The first red flag was the parking lot, which only had six cars parked!

The restaurant wasn't busy, so we enjoyed our own private booth for our group of eight. Instead of bread, they served a basket of hush puppies—two different varieties—along with honey butter, and both were delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Though I'm not usually a fan of catfish, I found both the blackened and fried versions to be quite good. The steak was also well-seasoned and tender. I gave the alligator tail a try, and it was surprisingly tasty. The fried oysters were exceptional—crispy, well-seasoned, and possibly the best I've had so far.

This restaurant has really deteriorated. They've cut costs, and the quality of the food is poor. The portions are tiny; the piece of fish I had yesterday was so tough it felt like beef jerky. The only redeeming quality of this place is the one female server they have. I should have taken a hint from my visit two months ago, but things have only gotten worse since then.
