Silverton Sundance Grill - Las Vegas

Being a former restaurateur for 45 years I can’t help but analyze an eating establishment when dining. I very seldom ever complain just chalk it up to poor management and/or training. However, when I see a smooth running restaurant, I am compelled to speak out. My wife and I dine at the Sundance Grill on a regular basis and have seldom been disappointed. With that said, we have seen a significant improvement recently in the food and service. I have to attribute this positive change to the consistency of seeing a “working” Manager on the floor! I introduced myself to “Todd” last night and told him we appreciate his involvement on the line as well as in the dining room. You can tell the difference in the staff when they are working with and basically for their Manager. I doubt if it’s a coincidence that the food and service has improved immensely. I would also like to give a shout out to our server, Lucio! What a great personality! You can tell he enjoys what he does and makes the dining experience pleasant for “his” guests! The food was excellent. I found the dishes to be outstanding. The waitress was very attentive and accommodated our special requests seamlessly. I decided to order the chicken noodle soup, a side salad, and a side of calamari. Considering the price, you certainly get a lot of value. I have no complaints at all!

Let me start by saying that this place has an old Vegas vibe, thanks to the decor on the main casino floor. I was quite hungry, and with most of the small restaurants in the casinos closing in just 30 minutes, I decided to give this one a shot. The waiter was an incredibly friendly and social guy who recommended the King Cut Steak, which he claimed was the best on the menu. My girlfriend opted for the grilled salmon, and both dishes came with salads. This was the first time I tried medium rare steak, and I was absolutely blown away! I managed to keep my cool and finished every bite; it was simply fantastic—perfectly cooked without needing anything extra. This place is awesome for either dining or brunch, and I’d give it a 9.5/10. Highly recommended!

The country-style French toast was simply fantastic. Everything else was great as well; this café truly deserves recognition for its near perfection. The ambiance was also quite delightful.

Delicious breakfast! A few weeks ago, my husband and I stayed at the Silverton and decided to stop by Sundance for a quick bite. I ordered the Wild West omelette, while my husband chose the country fried steak and eggs. Both meals were fantastic and reasonably priced. We definitely plan to return for our anniversary!
