Great restaurant with awesome food!Definitely worth a try!
Let me tell you the food is delicious!! We wanted some Latin food and just googled and decided to try this place. It was karaoke night so it was a nice vibe. Plus the food was good. My husband had the fish, I had the Fritanga. Give it a try.
Love the food! Just discovered this gem. I've been here 3 times this week. Amazing fresh dishes from all over S. America. We tried different dishes every time and all was amazing. Seafood was fresh. And it tastes like delicious, authentic, home made food. None of the waitresses spoke English (over all 3 days) but that adds to the authenticity right?! lol. The atmosphere isn't anything amazing but they always have good music on, so it's that happy Latin vibe. Highly recommend. What we loved was the Pupusas, the cuban dish with the beans and platanos, some kind of coconut seafood soup, the karachas (not sure if that's the right word, lol). Anyways, I'll be back and I highly recommend.
The first time I visited, I came with a friend and we noticed that the menu descriptions were not accurate. For instance, his dish had an aioli sauce on the meat, which wasn’t mentioned in the description, and he doesn’t like anything with mayo. This is definitely something that annoys me; the menu should be precise. Be sure to check not only the photo of your dish but also its description. Oh, and their English menu doesn’t include everything. Today, I’m returning for my second visit, and to try a baleada for the first time. My first reaction to trying a baleada was: the tortilla is FRESH! It’s like all Central American restaurants in Las Vegas, made with GMO grains. The texture is nice and the flavor is AMAZING! The carne asada was both plentiful and delicious, but I felt it needed something fresh, like a salsa. It came with artificially pickled onions (pickled with pasteurized vinegar, not fermented), and artificial coloring. Unfortunately, I couldn’t partake because of the artificial colors. Despite that, the flavor was good and the prices were reasonable. The quality is very good. So, for my first time having a baleada, it’s like a sandwich in a homemade flour tortilla. It was tasty and filling, but it could have used a fresh element like salsa or cabbage. I also ordered their pupusas again, and they are literally the best I’ve ever had in Vegas. The curtido has a great flavor and hints of oregano. It would be wonderful if someone could make it traditionally, though. I’m also eager for someone to offer non-GMO homemade tortillas and pupusas in Vegas. We’re definitely behind in that aspect. Overall, this is a fantastic place with outstanding service. The kitchen closes at 8:30 PM, except on Fridays and Saturdays when it stays open until midnight for karaoke. Despite the GMO grains, artificial colors, pseudo-pickled items, inaccurate menu descriptions, an incomplete menu, and Styrofoam takeout containers, they still deserve 5 stars for their great selection, thoughtful presentation, delicious food, fair prices, and exceptional service. They might typically rate 4 stars, but honestly, they’re the best we have here. Definitely check them out!
