Oyster Grill Harrah's Las Vegas

Calamari ordered, Calamari was over cooked and gummy. Shrimp and pasta were great, especially the shrimps, big and had a beautiful cripple. Jambalaya was good, but the chicken was overcooked and extremely dry.

We tried Oyster Bar Harrahs because it would take two hours to sit at Oyster Bar Place Station. We were not impressed by one Harrah. One place station is 10x better and less expensive.

We have been going to the oyster bar for at least 15 years a few times a year when in Vegas. This year was not good. Our favorite Chef Dennis after 24 years was let go because of business COVID. He was always one of the reasons we went. Plus, It is an oyster bar and had fresh, lovely, many varieties of oysters to choose from. That is also gone. All that they offered was 1 type Blue Points. It was a bummer. But, we will continue to go to support.

This was my first time eating at this Restaurant on 2/19/2021 and I was looking forward to it due to my enjoyment for seafood. I will say the food was delicious. We order the New England Clam Chowder which was delicious. The Fried Calamari we oder was hard and not fresh. The crab cakes were delicious. The grilled Ribeye Steak was cooked great and tastetet great also. The OB’s Pan Roast was very good with a mixture of Lobster, Shrimp, Crab Claws and more. (I would get this again The only downside was our server did not care. I asked him several questions and he told me (I don’t care twice!!! He never once checked on us to even ask how we were doing and how is the food. I am a Caesar’s Diamond member and the person I was with is Diamond Plus, so we do spend money at Caesars Properties nor to be treated in a certain way. I still tipped the server, however, he would have gotten a larger tip due to his bad attitude with us. I will definitely go back to this restaurant, however, I will make sure I am not served by that particular server.

The atmosphere reminds rather of a workplace cantina than of an upscale seafood place. The menu is rather on the short side, only a few items are offered. But: Mr Moon is the best server ever even when he has to literally deal with the entire place on his own. Food quality is surprisingly good, oysters are fresh and nice, shrimp cocktail is pretty decent as well, try the Fish Chips and you can’t go wrong. They also accept your Diamond-member drink vouchers. Be sure to make a reservation, this place is always packed due to limited dining options at Harrah’s. Without reservation, you risk to get turned away quite rude or you have to wait for up to two hours before they squeeze you in.
