Mt. Charleston Lodge - Las Vegas

Very disappointed tht the Lodge has burned to the ground. It was our happy go-to restaurant on Mt. Charleston. Hopefully, they will rebuild and open better than ever.

I have been calling the number on their website and Google for 3 hours now and it just rings and rings. (702) 872-5408 this is the number they have on their website, Google, and etc. This will be my first time trying to experience Mt Charleston Lodge stay and restaurant and it has been bad so far. I cannot get a hold of anyone. Wow.

My husband and I went to MT Charleston Lodge , and went there to stay at the lodge for the night . Then we went into the bar to have some drinks and play pool , I thought maybe Albert the bar tender was some what busy and kept ignored to serve us so I went up to the bar and asked Albert for ice and another drink twice and he kept ignoring me m, then I went to the room to check up on my puppy then brought him in to get something then everyone at the bar came up to me to ask me about the puppy and to pet the puppy my intention wasn't for the puppy to stay . Then Albert the bar tender yelled at me to get my puppy out and I told him u know u we're never nice to us in the beginning and wouldn't deserve us . He cuz me out so he made me angry and I cuz him back , I couldn't not believe that he felt it was ok to treat us this way , so I told him that I was going to tell his manager and Albert the bar tender answers me go ahead oh I'm scared and continue to cuz me out . Wow I never in my lifetime seen some one think that they can cuz the customer out with no consequence at all, like he was in all his rights to treat us like this. I will be calling the manager anyway .

It was a great place to go to get away from Las Vegas in the summer and the winter. We especially enjoyed their hot chocolate it was so unbelievably delicious. My family remembers the original lodge that burned down in the early 60s and now in my lifetime to see the second one burn down is just tragic. When they rebuild we will return cause that lodge was a family tradition for all of us to go to and gather and enjoy.

Have gone here since I was a kid, am 20 at the time of this review. I only wish I didn't wait until the awful news today to write this review.
