Hugo's Cellar - Las Vegas

I was not very impressed with the food. I had the stuffed shells, and they were very tough, no flavor, but mostly dry. I was ok with the prices, but sorry to say, the food was horrible. I thought it would be more authentic Italian food. It was recommended from a bartender at the mirage. I went back and told her of my experience, terrible choice, wasted my money. Excellent! The service was some of the best ever. The coordination between all the staff is top tier. The food was AMAZING! The only downside for me was the espresso machine was broke so we couldn't experience the cappuccino. Gives us another reason to return. Highly recommend! Been coming to Las Vegas for over 20 years for the AAPEX/SEMA show and have only heard that places like this on Fremont Street, in old Vegas , put this town on the map. Outstanding service from experienced staff that are here because they want to be, not have to be . Professional, warm, friendly, and most importantly made the world feel like a normal place again (did I mention we were in Vegas! . Every dish was excellent, prime rib tender and succulent. Ribeye was juicy with great beefy, deep-umami flavor. Salad, included with entree, was prepared table side. Time capsule experience made us want to drive away in a '66 Continental convertible with the Ratpack. Looking forward to coming back again next year. Long live Hugo 's Cellar...! Never disappoint with Hugo's.. We came back after a few years, and you get your money worth with the spectacular food and ambiance... I recommend is better than the ones near the strip for sure!
