Only useful for burning comps. The service is usually slow, and the food is very average. My wife loves the fact that you can have breakfast. The view of the garden is relatively beautiful. There are much better options in Vegas, but not much in Bellagio. I had many articles on the menu and did not find anything I would recommend, but at the same time I did not find anything I would suggest to avoid. This place is very average.
We arrived at 10:00. There was a line. Not huge, but it still made our wait 30 min, even with only 4 small groups before us. After we had set ourselves, the waitress quickly, very nice and smiling, took our orders and took up many changes in our food. The orders came pretty fast. Very large plates. The Croissant Sandwich was delicious, but definitely too much. Fruit plate was well dimensioned and they changed fruits for us at no extra cost. Granola also added at no extra cost. Coffee is brought to your table immediately, even if you do not want it (I have expressly said no coffee for me) and we were still charged $5 per person. The fresh orange juice is not fresh and is $8 per person. A little expensive. Apart from that, everything was very delicious.
We arrived late last night and the young lady at check in recommended a few options. We chose to go to Cafe Bellagio. We first waited at the Hostess podium, we were the only ones there. When the hostess finally came to us after we watched several staff see us, but not one even acknowledge us, we just asked could we order something to go. So she sits us at a bar in the center where every server comes past us in and out getting orders etc. And again no acknowledgment. It wasn 't until another customer flagged a waitress down and asked could she take our order... he obviously seen how we were blatantly being ignored. The waitress looked irritated, but said just a moment and came back and took our order. She made a few comments during our wait one being they are closing the cafe soon. B-I-N-G-O!!!! There it is.... rather one of 2 things... this service is what is causing the cafe to close soon... or maybe once management announced it they should have gone on and closed immediately, because your staff has already checked out! No one smiles, no one makes eye contact or speaks, and all act as if they are being inconvenience by the presence of a customer.
Great food, great prices and fabulous staff!
