It really shows that it’s a family owned restaurant. The atmosphere feels so peaceful and comfortable. Tony was our server and he was so awesome and attentive, it is evident that he loves his job. The bread was AHMAZING! We ordered calamari and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve had. I have no idea how it tasted so fresh and cooked JUST RIGHT! I had the soup of the day which was tomato basil chicken and chef’s kiss for the freshness. The scallop and shrimp (JUMBO) had a nice little kick to it. We all enjoyed our meals and overall I am very pleased. Thanks for a great experience.
Wanted some good pasta for dinner last night, and found Lorenzo's. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The service was impeccable; attentive, prompt, and friendly. And the food was delicious. Calimari? Cooked perfectly. Main dishes? Great portions, flavorful, and filling.Read reviews ahead of time and everyone hypes up the bread, so I went in with huge expectations. I was not disappointed. My family had each downed two pieces each before the appetizers even got to the table.10/10 experience and will be going here again.
This place was a HUGE disappointment. We ordered take out, and the food was so bad. My husband ordered chicken Parmesan, and I ordered fettuccine Alfredo. Both orders came with soup, we asked for the sausage and green Chile, what we got was closer country gravy. It was bland, and so thick. The sauce on my husbands plate was sooo sweet, like it was a sauce for a tv dinner entree. The sauce in my dish had no flavor whatsoever. It was creamy grease. The bread was good, but we were not able to finish either of our dishes. Considering we spent nearly $50 on this meal, I am very unhappy with what we got.
The only thing really good about this restaurant is the bread. It was GREAT! The food took a long time to come out. Main dishes are pretty mediocre, and it was luke warm like it had been sitting there for a while. Had the Rome dish. The red sauce has a lot of sugar in it. It's almost like a homemade chef boyardee sauce. I'm not a fan of the pesto sauce. The basil taste was overpowering. The Alfredo sauce was okay. Probably won't go again.
The food was good the bread was soft yet crunchy. I tried the cheese ravioli in a green chile sauce; it was outstanding.I had been told to try the spumoni; wow! Sadly, I didn't take a picture of it.The service was not good. I arrived for lunch around 1:15; it was not crowded, nor would I say busy. The server seemed annoyed to seat me, then didn't return to take a drink order for a few minutes at least 5. He was slow bringing bread out; he brought it with my salad that was spectacular.I ordered the spumoni to go and it seemed he forgot about it. I paid my bill, then he said he still needed to get the spumoni, which took an additional 10 mins.Another table had tried to get his attention and he didn't see them, so I notified him when he was at my table; he shrugged and walked away not to the table who had been signaling him.Perhaps he was having an off day, but he was the only dreary spot in the experience. The food was excellent!
