The Rinka - Larne

I had a great time visiting this restaurant today. Although their ice cream is always a big draw, this time we ended up purchasing a floor mat, porridge oats, and various other random items. The restaurant offers a wide variety of toys, food, and household goods. They also sell books on local history, including one about The Rinkha. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were toy ankylosaurs on display near the till. It's wonderful to see a family-owned business thriving after so many years. In addition, they have a section dedicated to their history with intriguing photos of the dance hall and live music performances. The restaurant even has a large, free parking lot outside.

The ice cream and pineapple sorbet at this restaurant are amazing. The queue is always out the door, but the service is great and the staff are wonderfully polite. If you haven't been before, it's worth the journey. You won't regret it. They also have one of the best toy stores in the country, along with unique hardware items you can't find elsewhere.

Loved it went with my kids and really liked it, never been before but will make journey again! Recommend.

Had a bowl of their ice cream, cinnamon flavour. They make their own ice cream, with their own recipes, and they add different flavours throughout the year. I'd never tried their cinnamon ice cream, it might be a new one. Had it with strawberries; it was glorious.

Renowned building and a place I proposed to my wife in and in one knee, she said yes! My review is of my favourite place in the world for lovely ice cream and coffee, in here they not only do all the sweet things but if you heading to the beach they have all the essentials so the kids have plenty to do when you get there. I stop off every time I’m in the area abs I drive 40mins just to sample it’s delights. I am part of a biking group called Biking Adventures and routes Northern Ireland and nee try to highlight spots for bikers and traveler’s to visit and this has to be on your route (take a detour) and sit around the corner overlooking the Gobbin’s Road at some perfect views.
