Roma Antica Larkspur

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to stop for a quick meal on the weekends. It's a bit of a drive from the city, but we found it convenient after a day of hiking nearby. The prices are reasonable, but parking can be difficult due to limited space. It's best to avoid visiting during peak tourist hours (4-7pm) to ensure a more enjoyable experience.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. If you enjoy genuine Italian cuisine, excellent service, and minimal wait times for a table in Larkspur, then this is the perfect spot for you.

One of the BEST Italian food I've had in California. Located in a quaint town, with nice restaurants along the street. Ample parking in the back this restaurant offers indoor, outdoor and balcony seating. Such a friendly staff, everything we ordered was delicious down to the affogato. The restaurant offers a good kids menu and is family friendly. Great for any occasion! I am so happy we found them and would recommend you visit them when in Larkspur. Definitely a must try!

Best authentic Italian food I ever had in my life. The food was full of flavor that your mouth welcomes. The service was amazing, too.

After going to Rome several times, I 've just had to realize that Italian food in America is just never going to live up... except for Roma Antica. I have been here several times and tried many dishes. This restaurant is the best representation of Italian food that I have ever tasted here in the US. Perhaps it helps that the entire staff is from Italy, mostly from Rome. Not sure why, but carbonara with guanciale is almost impossible to find in the states. But yes, they serve it here, and it is amazing. I 've never had a dish here that was just good . Everything is delicious, and the food and the amazing staff make me feel like I 'm right back in Rome. I will always come here whenever I am in the bay area.
