You can't open a hotel attached to a highway. We are on the first floor, a narrow, carpeted attic. Everything rumbles. The trucks seem to get into the room, even with the Velux closed. It's hot and in the end we open to ventilate a bit. They offer us to dine on the spot; surprise, the food is excellent and the waitress very nice, she sings while she works. go eat not sleep Rooms: 1

Service was awful slow very abstract, food was distinctly average. Was not made to feel welcome we asked for a bottle of Pinot Grigot, which didn’t appear yet they attempted to charge us for it. This was with only 2 other tables occupied so they were not even busy. Definitely better places locally. Service: 1

Nice hotel with very nice rooms fitted out to a high standard. Staff were very helpful and sociable. Secure out of sight parking at the rear was perfect for as we were on motorcycles. Will use again as really well sighted just off the M74. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
