Las Flores - Laredo

We visited for lunch and mainly ordered caldos. Unfortunately, the wait time was excessive, and we ended up taking half of our meal to go. The service was lacking, even though there were only three tables occupied and two servers present. My husband asked the waitress which caldo she recommended, and she suggested caldo de res. However, the soup was clearly old; the meat was tough and unappetizing. The tortilla soup was decent but arrived cold. I wouldn’t recommend going unless you have plenty of time to wait.

The restaurant lacks expertise in making flower tortillas, and they should pay more attention to detail.

When we walked in there was no host or any welcomes . We sat down took like a 10 minute wait then the came . It wasn't friendly. Look little clean but couldn't wait to leave .sorry I asked for over easy eggs and I got over cooked. ?

Pleasantly surprised! Mexican food well seasoned reminiscing of authentic Mexican home cooking. Loved the salsa quemada!!
