Lara Hotel

Beer was flat. honigburger was dry and tasted like sugar on huh. steak was harder than a rubber boots when I asked about him medium rarely. also waited 50 minutes and not even 12 people in the restaurant. will not go back!

My group of 14 booked a week in advance to meet in the lara hotel for a midday week. it is located directly on the road to the lara railway station and also the lara RSL hall, which is only a hall (no pokies, drinks or meals aa the rsl). I was skeptical about the ability of a person to make coffee, to use alcohol, to take lunch orders and to wipe and wipe the tables for more than 20 people. she really did well and her bosse would have wrapped up a nice win of only one person who takes care of all these tasks. the kitchen staff did a good job, we were all happy. it was the kind of simple pub food they would expect in a country pub. they were renovated so it would be good to go back and see how the other half of the building is when it is done. it is very modern, comfortable and has large windows and good acoustics. lara is a much bigger city than before and we continue to the close you yangs to go. it was a fabulous day trip.

Where is the service gone? I've been waiting on a board all the time until my number comes for my lunch. no detension. much better somewhere with waiters/waters.

Unfortunately my partner is gluten intolerante and has been all her life. She struggles to eat out due her condition. Last night we were their for a family function where we strongly advised the staff of her condition and was re assured they caiter for gluten free people. Fifteen minutes after finishing her meal I could see by the look on her face she was getting unwell. We had no choice by to race home . It is now 12pm the next day and she is still ill . Lara hotel please note ..... if you want to cater for gluten free people please please make sure you do actually that. Please be aware of what cross contamination can do and how violently I'll you can make people. You have knocked out my partner for 48 hours as this is how long it takes her to recover. I think the Little River pub might be our only option from now on. Hope you look into this and change your procedures before you seriously hurt someone. This is not a joke .

Quick service.Actually has entrees suitable for post bariatric surgery clients although maybe a healthier option for kids meals would be good.Mains were well presented and went down a treat.Venue clean.Staff very helpful.
