Check the bill Few times they tried to double it at least Food wad ok but was annoyed about the bill

We popped in for a bit to eat. It was a sunday lunchtime and reasonably busy. My husband ordered the Cassoulet which was copious and tasty. My mussels on the other hand had too many empty shells and the ones I ate had been over cooked unlike the chips which hadn't been cooked and were sent back. The biggest disappointment, and maybe it was a genuine mistake; we found two desserts and two coffees on the bill we hadn't had. They apologised and tried giving us a new bill minus the desserts. Once again we had to point out we didn't have coffee. Eventually the bill was rectified.

We have eaten here a few times over the last few months. The food has always been good. Beware though when ordering a Guinness you don't always get your full measure!

A very nice address, hearty and good dishes! a very pleasant and smiling welcome. A good time!

Nice frame. Good atmosphere. I liked the dishes and especially the dessert with pistachio. And of course good beers!
