Gump's Bbq - Lansing

The brisket bowl at this restaurant is fantastic. I followed the employee's recommendation and chose the cheesy potatoes over the Mac n cheese, and I'm glad I did. Although it's a bit pricey, the food is absolutely delicious. I have no regrets.

I used to go there first thing in the morning after work all night. The brisket breakfast burrito is just what I want after a hard day's work!!

What an absolute gem!The mac and cheese is the best I have had in any restaurant. It reminded me of my mom's. The smoked brisket was tender and flavorful. The smoked pork sandwich was huge! And those fries, close to being steak fries but not exactly. They were also delicious.It was our first visit but definitely not our last. Next time we will try the breakfast burrito. That is what most of the other customers were ordering. I am sure you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Good food but a poorly run company. Could be amazing if they got their stuff together over there- hoping someone with business management skills buys them out but keeps the recipes
