Gateway Fish & Chips - Langwarrin

On Saturday evening. chicken souvlaki, lamb souvlaki, chips and potato cake. when opening the Souvlaki package they fell apart, they were not grilled, full of limp salad sauce, a piece of tomato and 4 pieces of meat and no Tzatziki sauce. Very... removable, the worst souvlakis we've ever eaten. I wish I had taken a photo now. were nice and crispy and not oily.

This restaurant served the worst food I have ever tasted. The meat in the souvlaki was charred to a black crisp, I couldn't even tell if it was lamb. It was served with only two slices of tomato wrapped in a pita that didn't resemble a correct souvlaki wrap, and to make matters worse, there was a long hair in it. The chips were overcooked to the point of being transparent and tasted only of burned oil. Despite waiting for half an hour, I didn't see any evidence of hand hygiene. It was absolutely disgusting.

Great customer service and nice fresh food. Mini spring rolls are meant to die. highly recommended. great for lunch or dinner

I will not return to this restaurant because while I was waiting for my order, I saw a staff member come out, empty the public trash, then go back behind the counter without washing their hands. They then touched the food equipment and continued working.

Love having their grilled flake here. Young staff very friendly. Always busy lots of people waiting for their orders so must be good place to get your fish chips.
