Flourishing Restaurant - Langley

Since recently discovering this amazing family operated restaurant we've always experienced a fine dining experience. During our last visit we were assisted by both Amanda and Doris. We noticed the live crab at only $13.99 a pound. The crab we selected weighed in a 2.75 pounds (it must have been weighed with the container) as our calculation as closer to 2.25 pounds. Regardless we were happy with the end price. The prawns in mayo sauce was nice as usual however the beef and green beans were overcooked to our taste. Oh yes the other comment was that we felt that $3.00 for a small bowl of steamed rice was somewhat rich.

This place has been around forever and its a staple for good chinese food. It also has fresh seafood and a huge menu to choose from

Lettuce wraps, mmmm vegetarian, who knows what was in the mix. Very tasty. Sezuchuan beef was just right and so were the chicken dishes.

I eat Chinese Food in Vancouver but having moved out in the area it's been hard to find a decent Chinese restaurant. I pre-ordered a few dishes for a family dinner for the food to be picked up at a certain time. I got there and waited and waited. 45 minutes later I received the food. The food is over priced for what they serve. I've recently found a small Chinese restaurant place which is much better for the same price.

Their place is always warm and cozy on those cool winter days. It is always busy, so you know the food is great. They are fast, friendly and efficient. The food is very flavourful and each time I see a another unique dish go by me to be served to another customer I am anxious to give it a try on my next visit.
