When we finally reached an opening in the forest, we were surprised to find that the ice cream seemed a supplement to their working coffee production plant. After we found a parking space near the restaurant, we were surprised to find that they ordered their meal as soon as they entered the building. we were there to breakfast and since we had never been there, we were something to a loss to decide what to order. we ordered both breakfast sandwiches and coffee, then went to the dining room to find a table. there we found the tables and seats that are better suited for an outside terrace. the breakfast sandwiches were delicious, but not excessively generous and the service was minimal. If you wanted more coffee, you need to help yourself. overall it was an interesting experience, but we will not enjoy it often even if we can find the place again!
We loved this place. I was looking for special coffee makers and that's where I went on whidbey. Actually, I don't prefer a dark roasted coffee and they didn't have any bright beans here, but it was still a big visit and I wasn't disappointed. the mood is great, the people friendly, and the decorations and the environment are great! I had the heuvos rancheros and they were fantastic- so much taste. my wife had a croissant sandwich and liked it. the place so much we bought a tshirt and cup as souvenir of our pnw holiday, as well as some bohnen (yes, not even lightly or really even medium-dolved) and a dose tee. quite certain if they are looking for break and coffee. just coffee? Maybe, but it's out of that, so they might find that a stretch.
Loved the coffee, baked and decorated there this place. a local gem. they need to get a little down a not so big road to get you, but it's worth it. many natives seem to visit this place
I would say this is off the beaten path, but its normally always busy, so not so much a secret. Still fantastic coffee, great food, and awesome location. A definite stop if your on the island.
A little out of the way but well worth the trip great food, coffee, and very friendly staff. A must visit if you are in the area and enjoy a good breakfast!
