Einstein Bros. Bagels - LANGHORNE

Stick a fork in this place and good riddance. Picked up some bagels some time ago and the hole was big enough to throw a golf ball through. Salmon shmear was in a name only tasted like something artificially flavored and looked nothing like it was before. Hopefully better bagel place will replace this dump.

This location used to make good bagels, but good lord this last dozen I bought were just awful. Yes they were round. Yes they were made of bread. But that's about it. Thin. Crumbly when cut. Tasteless. Probably the worst commercial bagels we've ever had. Too bad now were have to drive further to get decent bagels.

Very awkward experience here. Went in on a weekday morning (10/27) to pick up 2 dozen bagels and a box of coffee. They wouldn’t serve me the coffee since it needed to be ordered ahead and can take up to 30 minutes (even though it was extremely slow and empty inside). So I asked if I can order the coffee now and pick it up in 30 minutes whenever it would be ready since I’m local. The gentleman flat out told me no, and that they are short-staffed (even after telling me it needed to be ordered ahead). There were also only 2 customers inside including myself and another staff member behind the register. Very poor customer service and unwillingness to serve! Couldn’t even be nice about it! I went to Dunkin instead who had it ready immediately.

Went there this morning and it’s the second time I’ve gone in two weeks and they have consistently gotten my order wrong. When you order something direct from the menu without modifications it should be very easy to follow the menu.

Ok Bagels. Super slow bc of large group. Ordered a new item which was a Chorizo breakfast burrito and a latte with vanilla. 15 minutes later, asked about the latte since we came in with a big group. They still didn 't make it or some of the drinks from other people ahead of me. They don 't take names so pretty sure they made the same drinks twice. 5 minutes later got the latte. Anyway, got the burrito about 15 or 16 min after I ordered it (before the latte). Wife took a bite and it was cold. Told the person behind the counter who apologized and put it back in the oven. He then told the other employees that tortillas need to be cooked twice. Got it back, bit into it and the Chorizo was still cold. Obviously it was frozen and should have been microwaved or heated up prior to putting it into the burrito. I told the employee just for their benefit so the next person gets a hot one. The one who put it back in the oven apologized again. The one who made it uttered something at me. Look, I ate it. It wasn 't bad. Would 've been better if it was hot. Others in our group got Bagels. Not the best, not the worst. One got a cold brew caramel shake. The mom said she was pretty sure there wasn 't any coffee in it. If there was, it was undetectable.For some reason, they have all the tables put away and have signs that not for public use. Our group sat Anyway and the employees allowed it. Nice of them.Two restrooms, one had no towels bc the dispenser was missing from the wall. Hmm. Maybe that customer got a bad burrito :)What 's weird is that the menu board above the counter doesn 't have prices for just a bagel or a bagel with butter. I get that they are pushing sandwiches and such. Maybe it 's there but it 's not that obvious.So not bad, but don 't expect to get blown away by the food. If they took your name like other places so they know which order belongs to who, that may improve things. I 've worked in a few delis and bagel places in my day. I can see where improvement could be made.
