Persimmon Tree Modern Korean Cuisine

Food was great korean and some served in cast iron dishes with wood blocks. Serving staff was very friendly our server was very sweet. English not their first language but that doesn't matter. They were having a good time talking to other staff members when behind the counter.Atmosphere is a simple place and a bit bare but clean and spacious for groups of 4 to 6.Will come back :

Went to Persimmon Tree Modern Korea and it was great the food was good the staff were great and the location was excellent lots of parking will come back

Best Korean food I’ve had in the Victoria area. Excellent service and my meal was out fast. Loved that my rice dish was served in a traditional cast iron bowl which was piping hot to give my rice some crunch on the outside of each grain. Wish it was closer to downtown, but worth the trek out to Millstream.

Gave this a 3 because the same portion used to fill the bowl, is not maybe 2/3 full. Each bowl is now over $18. Also I ordered a FIVE DOLLAR side of veg, mushrooms and zucchini and it came in this tiny 2 ounce ramekin...rip off!
