Backstube Remmers - Langeoog

The bakery remmers offers a good selection of rolls / bakery. seemingly it is also the only bakery on the island.We have often taken something for the beach, tastefully everything in order.

Unfortunately, remmers from our own self is completely overrated. for the rolls in the evening you really needed good teeth, which were already very dry and tough a new test in the early morning was sobering: the rolls were only lower cuts, not much taste, hardly even a slightly darker dough....all quite a unity pulp.Also the cake did not convince us. the strawberries were drowned in the glibber regular and two other pieces we only had half eaten.Only a chocolate bread was delicious, but this is not a great art.

Tasty sandwiches, also freshly prepared on request. beautiful selection of good cakes and delicious coffee.

Once an older man had to use all the customers alone, and did not arrive against the snake from customers, another time served a younger couple from Eastern Europe, where they did not seem to have much idea, and the two were always talking in some language, which was not really professional. the espresso and the cake were good, you can't say anything. for a small bottle cola I paid 2,65 euro, that is unharmed.

The island bakery remmers has a main house and supplies its filials at different locations on the island. there you sit off the trubel and look at the rustic landscape and couple, in the city you sit centrally and can watch the drive. because due to the lack of cars, there are no corresponding noise and no degassing, both are nice.These were: crispy rolls that are not too dark or dry, as was described completely incomprehensible elsewhere. the rolls, whether bright or full grain, with sunflower seeds are crispy and tasty, the cake juicy, ingenious of the rusty-rich and good.The coffee tastes good and you will hardly be able to resist getting a piece of fresh cake. You realize that someone is doing a craft and understands it. Conclusion: a pity that langoog and the island bakery are so far away!
