Spud Boy's Diner - Lanesboro

One of the best waffles I've ever had. A beautiful crisp with butterfly interior. The coffee is good! No weak things here. Very friendly service. Reminds me of Al's on dinkytown, but with old tourists instead of hungry frat bros.

If you want good food and conversation in an absolutely authentic historic diner then this is the place for you. Lanesboro has much to offer the visitor so check out the town and have breakfast at Spud Boys Diner.

Gordie and Val really know how to whip up a nice hash brown! My fiancé and I went here the last day before they closed for the season- they were out of meats, but Gordie threw in green peppers and onions in our hash browns for free!

Really a nice place! Dining room cars were very popular and this was built in the 1920s. This dining car was restored. It's like going back in history. The owner is the most friendly person and, if not busy, ready to sit and talk to you. The food is also very good and reminds me of an old-fashioned café. I wish it would be more open because it was closed as often as I was in town.

That's a pretty place! After a morning drive everything was so delicious!
