Cafe Geo - Lane Cove North

I like a lot of bacon and soft eggs! these guys pull off the best Bacon and Egg rolls to get the work day started. I go out of my way for these rolls because their food is full of flavour!!

The restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant, staff were friendly and the pizzas are pretty good. They do not have a liquor licence however charge for corkage $3 per person which I'm not sure is the right thing to do. They say it is for the glasses however we just used the water cups on the table, so the reasoning seemed a little odd. We have enjoyed our meals every visit, and although the prices are not cheap (basic large pizza $25, garlic bread $6) it's not too bad for value.

After an average delivery experience we decided to dine in as we like to support local business. We have now dined their 5 times and unfortunately each time the standards have been getting worse and after the last experience we will not be returning. The table was dirty with no cutlery or glasses. We asked for an ice bucket to be told we don't have them?? Yes you do. Placed our usual order inncorrect pizza arrives when we explained it was wrong i overheard the waitress claim to the kitchen staff that we had changed our mind?? No we did not!! Then a very rude older man with longish hair made loud rude remarks to kitchen staff and other customers about us. We should have left at this point but we are not rude people so we put up with it. The nice owner i believe man in his 30s did apologise for the mistake unfortunatly for him the damage was done. Pizzas are ok they are very expensive and lack toppings especially the gourmet range. Pasta is terrible. I understand this is a family business and that is why we put up with the bad service but the remarks made by the older man are unacceptable. You made the mistake not us! You have now lost our business.

The family eats here 3 times a week and we have never ever been disappointed. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal. The Mexicana and the Mowbray special is a must try. Thank me later.

The café has a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. The decor is well done, making it a great place for team lunches, dates, and dinner with friends. The pasta, lasagna, and pizza are absolutely delicious.
