Akropolis - Landstuhl

This establishment is a very beautiful place, a good place to eat for any occasion. Would be a good place to go for anniversary, romantic yet casual. The food and staff are great. The after dinner drink treat was so thoughtful. My husband LOVED it.

Great Greek food rivaling Greece itself! The souvlaki and grilled pita is a must! In the summer the back has an outstanding beer garden.

Ate here with our family of 4! Got the salmon and pizza loved it! The white wine is amazing as well!

The title says it all. My wife and I are in the Landstuhl area for a few days and after trying German food a few days in a row we decided to try something different yesterday. So I searched on Trip Advisor and found this place rated as "#16 of 56 places to eat in Landstuhl." I'd argue its closer to #1 or 2. We went there for an early (6pm) dinner on a Tuesday evening. It's a small (cozy) place but very nice. The gentleman (I believe he's the owner) immediately greeted us and allowed us to choose where we wanted to sit. There were a couple of tables already occupied. The menu has quite a few options. My wife had a greek salad and a gyro plate with an iced tea. I had a sampler plate which came with several different types of meat, rice, and a house salad. I also had a beer. Both plates came with fries. The meats had so much flavor they melted in your mouth. The fries hot, fresh, and crispy. My plate didn't come with pita bread. However when I asked for one, there was no hesitation and it was served warm within a couple of minutes. We only have a few days left but plan to go again before we leave! Fantastic place!

Very good food and also the staff is friendly. This is my favorite greek restaurant and I will definitely come back again.
