Stone Soup - Landrum

Food here is always phenomenal. Eating here right now as I type for the 3rd day in a row… I don’t care how long the pizza takes or anything else for that matter. When food is this good, you will wait however long it takes. End of story.Our food has never taken a long time, just replying to the lady about the pizza thing, what a joke that she would leave a permanent one star review for the whole world to see based on one interaction that was bad after her supposed 10 years of visits? That’s petty, ridiculous and downright childish.Kudos to the reply from the owner. As an owner of 3 businesses myself, I know how entitled and downright pathetic people are when they don’t get their way. People need to grow up and realize most business owners are working their best with whatever they have at the moment. Good help is hard to find. I wouldn’t sweat the opinion of someone who comes in and spends $20… you don’t need them anyway…?

We are big fans of Stone Soup! They have excellent food no matter what you choose. You can dine in or take out. There is a dog park right next to it so you can bring your pups eat outside. Dog park Stone Soup share a parking lot with plenty of parking! We highly recommend Stone Soup to anyone in the area! Parking: Dog Park located right next door with shared parking lot. Not many places do you have the option to eat you food while letting your dog play in the dog park. Highly recommend!

We never received a response from the owner or management, and we debated whether to publish this review but we felt it was necessary. We were dining in the restaurant last week, and our server was Jordan, who we’ve had before and thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered one a pizzas and a side salad. Which is always incredible.About 10 minutes after we ordered our food Jordan returned to let us know that the older woman, with short white hair sitting across the dining room was the pizza cook. We had already been waiting and thought it was unusual, so we asked him to just see if she could start on our pizza. She aggressively yelled at him in front of customers, exclaimed that he was “an entitled person” and worst of all to me, she still did not get up to go make the orders.He was visibly shaken, and after being addressed by a coworker in such a way, in front of his tables, we were appalled. We asked him about the interaction which he responded with a story of how it is a regular occurrence with that particular employee, and nothing was done to reprimand her.Seeing as the owner or manager of this business does allow for someone who is so sour, disrespectful, and unprofessional to work for them, and create such a hostile environment, we hope for Stone Soup’s sake she is removed from her position. I fear it tainted our ability to see Stone Soup the same way we have for nearly a decade.

Zero Vegan options. They sell vegan cheese but not for use on anything they fix. Waitress let tea run out and that is one thing I am picky about. Good quality food bur not for vegans.

We love the salmon, and the desserts are always excellent.
