Contribuiți la feedbackI recently visited a fantastic bakery filled with delicious cakes and essential treats. I was pleasantly surprised by the smell of fresh fish and chips. I decided to order the chips and curry, which were delicious. I can't wait to come back next week to try the fish! Thank you to the friendly staff for a great experience.
The shop houses a welcome for three intrepid semi-trailers. many thanks.
The food at that restaurant was delicious. I believe we ended up ordering about 10 dishes during our visit a few months ago.
We are new in the ribble valley and find new places to visit. today we went to glasson dock or glasson, as it seems to be called. beautiful place on the mouth of the river lune with a work lock that allows to boot a suitable size up to the flow in direction lancaster. there is also a smoke house they could buy fresh smoked fish, meat and cheese, although in my surprise most fish not caught locally but comes from Scotland. after a small walk and a buy of smoked makrele and huh, we cried in quayside cafe for a light refreshment and sat outside on a small terrace in the sun watching a catamaran navigating the lock, supported by the lock guard and his buddy the quayside cafe is a caffe, but much more than a fat spoon. eating, from a roasted teacake to a corn-rib-hase, is generous and tasty and cooked to order, reflecting the obvious desire of the owners to deliver good quality products. beautiful location, very friendly and dedicated staff and excellent eating, looking forward to our next visit and recommended “Full English”
Last Wednesday evening, my boss, her family, and I drove to Glasson Dock to meet her partner at the weekly Wednesday bike meet. We went to The Shop, where we were greeted by Jane, the friendly owner. Jane took our large order and quickly got to work. I tried the Dock Burger, which was absolutely amazing! My boss ordered a bacon, sausage, and egg barm and was blown away by how delicious it was. There were no leftovers for anyone, not even the fluffy grey cat named Fluff who lives in the pub next door (though he seems to prefer spending time outside the little shop). It was a wonderful evening, with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Jane, for making us feel at home. We have definitely found our little piece of heaven and will be back soon. Claire.
