The Chinese food at this restaurant is truly delicious. The salt and pepper tofu is a standout dish that I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing fast service. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from.

Ever since I moved to Lancaster in March 2020, I have been trying out all the local restaurants, and this one is definitely the best. The food is consistently delicious, the service is excellent, and the staff are super friendly and helpful, especially during COVID. It's also very convenient to have Hodgson’s Chippy nearby for those nights when I feel like getting a takeaway.

If you enjoy dishes like chips, rice, and curry sauce, then this restaurant is the perfect choice for you. Everything is conveniently served in a box, and the combination of flavors is truly delightful.

My partner, Myself, my 10 year old son and his friend stopped here to grab some tea too take home with us on the way back from having a really lovely day out. (Bank holiday Monday). We ordered Salt and pepper chicken... Crispy chicken in...spicy sauce... egg fried rice... chicken fried rice... curry sauces... salt and pepper chips and ordinary chips. When we arrived back home with the food we discovered there was No egg fried rice! We had been charged for it but it just wasn 't worth the bother messing about to go back for. We were hungry and had already had a really busy day. When dishing out the food we were not impressed at the overall appearance of the food.!! The Crispy Chicken was in fact an ordinary processed chicken burger sliced into strips. Completely bland, No spices no peppers no onions or anything with it in the tub. The spicy sauce that came in a separate tub it was absolutely HORRID it tasted like a mixture of brown sauce vinegar and jam. It was thick and Lumpy. It went straight in the bin. There was no spices in any off the food what so ever.Despite me asking if they could make my chicken extra spicy You could not tell the difference between the Salt and pepper chips to the ordinary chips. We could of saved our self nearly £30.00 and just thrown some oven chips and chicken burgers in the oven because that is basically what it was. Very disappointed and Never again!!

I ordered a sweet and sour pork and some spring rolls for delivery and it was delivered quickly. The food was absolutely delicious and the food were worth the price. Definitely would recommend this shop :
