The Cove Fishery - Lancaster

Great...big service...Mussel were cooked for perfection. Ask for a recommendation and expect nothing less than wow! I see reviews about slow turning over...30-50 minutes for an appetizer... good if you go quick food to McDonald's... This is a full service restaurant with great service and recommendations... but above all the experience was fantastic, I would wait an hour for an appetizer hands down. Spend time and appreciate the water view. Thank you for a great evening on our 7th anniversary.

Beautiful riverside location to eat Sunday brunch outside. We sat in the shade under the beautiful old sycamore trees on the terrace with a front row seat to the Conestoga River. We saw fish jumping out of the water to catch their insect food and sing all kinds of birds and fly the waterway. The food was great! The hash browns were well made and with some onion. You smoke salmon Florentino eggs Benedict was also very good. My only regret is that I had only one piece of toast to eat honey butter with the house that was far too good. I could almost have eaten with a spoon! The western omelet of my wife was also very tasty. The only thing I had changed was the music. In my opinion, the attitude and eating would be more with a softer and more instrumental music than with the 70s music played. It's said I'd eat there again. I can't comment in the restaurant when I never walked into the restaurant. I came from the parking lot to the terrace.

Great dinner last night with my wife. Nice atmosphere and good food. We sat by the fireplace. Service was NOT slow--no sure what the other reviewers we talking about. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing night....we brought my mom and dad out to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had a table for 4 and came directly in and had to sit in front of the fireplace (a special request we had). Our waitress was unpaid. We had Elk appetizer that was a perfect start. Our meals were amazing and a great size, most of us did the lit farewell so that we could also eat dessert. One of the owners took the time to tell us the history of the building... something we all enjoyed and were curious. It was the perfect atmosphere, good food, staff was so pleasant, and she gave my mother a lemon cream ball for her birthday with candles in it (free) to celebrate her birthday. Make sure you have space for dessert they were amazing. A great experience and something we will do again. Thanks to the staff and owners for a wonderful evening / experience.

Second time here and everyone in our party of 5 rave over each of their appetizers and meals. Very well prepared food and the flavors had my senses feeling quite satisfied. Our server was pleasant and very pleasant. Really, one of the top restaurants in Lancaster and I don't give 5 stars easy. Thanks for a great evening!
